Life at Roscarrack House

Roscarrack House is an independent family-run care home with a philosophy to provide person centred care in a friendly ‘feel like home’ atmosphere, looking after our residents’ individual needs.

The Home

Roscarrack House is a 19-bed care home specialising in the care of the elderly, located on the outskirts of Falmouth with attractive views overlooking Maen Valley. Roscarrack House is an impressive grade 2 listed building set in picturesque grounds. Approached by a long private driveway with ample parking facilities.

We currently have 19 single bedrooms, 17 of which have ensuite toilet facilities 4 have ensuite shower rooms. Meals are usually taken together, and we provide a choice of home-cooked meals every day (including special dietary requirements).

We have a dedicated activities teams who organise regular activities, including chair-exercise, entertainers, and other mentally stimulating activities, as well as visiting professionals such as hairdressers, opticians and chiropodists that visit the home on a regular basis.

Our Care

At Roscarrack House we believe it is extremely important to promote independence, and we understand that all our residents should be treated as individuals. So, every resident living with us has a plan of care designed around their requirements and preferences, granting them choices in all aspects of their daily routine.
We also welcome regular visits from family and friends.

Roscarrack House is registered with the Quality Care Commission (CQC). The types of care we offer include Long Term, Respite, Palliative and Convalescent.You can view more information of our care options here.

The Staff

Maureen and David Edwards, have owned Roscarrack House since 1995. They and their team have generated an excellent reputation within the Falmouth area, creating a ‘Home from Home’ atmosphere for all its residents. In 2012 they took a step back from the day to day running of the home allowing the next generation of the family to continue their good work.

Roscarrack House has an extremely loyal and long-standing staff group. Many of the team have been with Roscarrack House for many years. Our staff are passionate and committed to providing the highest standard of care. Continuity of care is of the utmost importance to us and our residents. We are committed to keeping our staff up to date with changing procedure and legislation using a continuous staff training programme.
